If you REALLY knew me...

If you really knew me you would know that I am very depressed. If you really knew me you would know that my dad passed away when I was two. So my mom has been raising me as a single parent since then.

If you really cared enough to know anything about me, it would be that I have many, many regrets. Therefore my decisions are based upon those regrets. If you really knew me you would know I have taken care of my mom for the last seven years. I have grown up way too fast.. I feel like I am 25 inside.

If you really knew me... Well, you'd know I'm not that smart in school. I try to maintain any good grade I can. I am not any sort of well known in my school. I feel like a ghost walking down the halls. I keep to myself and no one seems to mind. It kind of makes me, sad...

If you really knew me you would understand how compassionate, kind, and caring I am. I am a pleaser. I take care of people. I make people happy before myself.. I don't mind it.

If you really knew me you would know that I have fallen in love before, until he broke my heart. <3
If you really knew me you could see what makes me tick,  what makes me happy, then you could make me happy. Don't feel sad for me. I'm sure I will be just fine :)

I'M SO JEALOUS!!

I really love the poem by Mike Taylor, Thinking about you.
Mr. Nelson showed it to us in class and I immediately thought, "Why can't I write like that?"
I read through his poetry and it has so many emotions. It can be funny, but sad as well. There is so much meaning into his poetry. I've always loved writing so it makes me mad that I can't be as good as Mike Taylor.

I like where he says, "Like cops think about.... arresting people."
That is my favorite part!!!!
"It's always sunny like rainbows and bunnies!" SO FUNNY! See when a poet can make you laugh and cry at the same time or in the same poem, they're doing a good job.
I wish I had the courage to perform my writing like him... SO COOL!!!
